Jesus parables and stories were filled with truth about the coming Kingdom of God but were not easy to understand without help and instruction. And the key to accessing the truth embedded in the parable was humility… a willingness to ask “what does this mean?”… a willingness to listen… and a willingness to act upon what you have heard. Humility in this case means to put aside your own ideas about truth, life, reality… and to listen to God your creator.
